is hosting 26 local crafters and artisans to sell their creations and demonstrate their craft at the 8th annual Dayton Crafty-Con. Dayton’s favorite craft convention is bringing the joy of crafting and admission to the event and it is free and open to the public. This is tonight from 5 to 10pm.

There is an auction of photographs taken by Stivers High School students and this is at the Fifth Street Gallery, tonight from 6 to 9pm.
The University of Dayton is saluting the literary tradition with its 17th annual LitFest, “Words Renewed, Worlds Reimagined.” This is a collection of events to highlight reading, writing, spoken word, and performance. It opens this evening, and runs through Saturday evening.
Out There, is a live performance by Art-Pop Psychedelic Duo Princess. The video’s science fiction narrative explores the power of the Divine Feminine through references of MTV, Ziggy Stardust and Devo. This is Saturday, 6:30 to 9pm at The Contemporary Dayton.
Happy Birthday for The Dayton Art Institute! They are celebrating the museum’s 100th birthday by throwing the biggest birthday party in Dayton. This community open house is a family event that will have many family fun activities and entertainment throughout the entire museum. There is no cost and it is Sunday, from noon to 4:30pm.
