Follow your curiosity at the next Second Saturday Kids Day! This month we are partnering with the Ohio History Center to have exciting hands on learning experiences and activities. Meet special guest Buddy from the hit PBS show Dinosaur Train, make your own dinosaur egg, and more!

Join journalist Wil Haygood– author of ten nonfiction books, many of which have won literary awards– as he launches The War Within a War: The Black Struggle in Vietnam and at Home, a timely exploration of the racial strife that dominated so much of life during the Vietnam era, and still prevalent today. Haygood will be in conversation at the Drexel theater with journalist Amy Juravich, host of WOSU’s All Sides with Amy Juravich.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, WOSU will host IMMERSE, a sensory-friendly concert for young people ages 6-12 who are autistic.
Two sessions are available (1 p.m., 3 p.m.) and will feature a short concert and a chance for attendees to interact with the music and the musicians through art, music and movement activities.
The event is free, but registration is required and limited to 15 concert-goers per session.

Join New York Times bestselling author Tom Perrotta as he launches his eleventh novel, Ghost Town. Called “moving, evocative, wise, and funny,” Perrotta unearths the buried ghosts of 1970s suburbia with tender complexity as he explores how the past haunts the present. Tom will be in conversation with Kassie Rose, book critic for WOSU Public Media.
