At the Woodland Cemetery is a story of a Tennessee slave who was freed in 1864 and settled in Dayton where he spent the next 40 years of his life. His now infamous reply was in response to a request from his former master to return to the Tennessee farm after the Civil War. A lecture about this weaves together an inspiring tale of a man and his family as they emerge from bondage and thrive in freedom. This is on Saturday at 4pm.
Masterworks III: Misha Dichter. An all-American program featuring one of the nation's foremost pianists will sample melodies of both Gershwin and Yellow Springs native Drew Hemenger. They also celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of American musical icon Leonard Bernstein.

When 400,000 British and Allied troops end up trapped on the beaches of Dunkirk, France, a number of civilian boats set out to rescue them before they are decimated by the approaching Nazi forces. This screening is part of the Air Force Museum Theatre's Hollywood Film Series and is this Sunday at 4 pm.
