This weekend the National Museum of the United States Air Force will celebrate Veterans Day

annual exhibit is honoring our nation's military veterans. It is now  through Sunday. The exhibit includes special items on loan from the Dayton VA Medical Center complex. Visitors and school children are also encouraged to write thank you cards to our military which will be delivered to our troops before the Christmas holidays.

The 47th annual is at the Coliseum Building at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. It's a great way to find affordable books, music and movies. Proceeds are donated to local nonprofit organizations. This is today through Monday…and there's plenty of parking available at the fairgrounds.

This weekend the National Museum of the United States Air Force will celebrate Veterans Day

commemorates Veterans Day so you can interact with more than 25 veterans who will be at aircraft throughout the museum. Included are a retired crew chief and flight nurse, as well as navigators, pilots and engineers. You can ask questions and interact with these aviation experts who will tell personal stories and offer first-hand knowledge. The "Plane Talks" is Saturday from 10:30am to 3:30pm.

When a Harvard Ph.D. student is struck down by a fever that leaves her bedridden, she sets out on a virtual journey to document her story as she fights a disease that medicine forgot. The Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Dayton Support Group is sponsoring this screening to raise awareness about Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and resources within the Dayton area. Donations are welcome at the door. .
