Think downtown streets are free and clear following Sunday's Riverfest? Think again. Monday morning, the Aruna Run - held to raise awareness about human trafficking in Asia - takes place, further impacting access to downtown streets.
Starting at 7 a.m., the following streets will close and remain closed until approximately 11:30 a.m:
- Freedom Way closed between Rosa Parks Street and Marian Spencer Way (closes at 6 a.m.)
- Freedom Way closed between Elm Street and Marian Spencer Way
- Elm Street closed south of Second Street
- Race Street closed south of Second Street (open to garage)
- Rosa Parks Street closed south of Second Street (open to garage)
- Joe Nuxhall Way closed south of Freedom Way
- Ramp LL closed
- Mehring Way closed between Smith Street and E. Pete Rose Way
- Central Avenue closed south of W. Pete Rose Way
- Clay Wade Bailey Bridge closed
- Taylor Southgate Bridge closed
- Broadway closed south of Third Street
- E. Pete Rose Way closed west of Broadway; eastbound closed between Broadway and Mehring Way
- Second Street south curb lane closed between Clay Wade Bailey Bridge and Elm Street
- Johnny Bench Way closed
- E. Pete Rose Way eastbound closed between Taylor Southgate Bridge and Eggleston Avenue
