Dr. David Morgan works with other field biologists and scientists on research projects aimed at improving the conservation status of chimpanzee and gorilla populations throughout Africa.

Dr. David Morgan is co-director of the Goualougo Triangle Ape Project, a research program to monitor and document great ape health and behavior and examine ape population dynamics within the changing conservation landscape of the Congo Basin. He is also a Research Fellow with the Lester E. Fisher Center for the Study and Conservation of Apes at the Lincoln Park Zoo. He discussed his work with Cincinnati Zoo Director Thane Maynard
