According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, one in three women and one in four men have been victims of intimate physical violence in their lifetimes.

The added stress of the holidays can often trigger instances of abuse, both physical and psychological. There are several local organizations that work to prevent domestic violence and help abuse survivors.

Joining us to discuss preventing domestic abuse are Director of Family and Community Intervention at the Greater Cincinnati YWCA, Erika Yingling; Vice President of Programming at Women Helping Women, Kendra Massey; and Executive Director of Women's Crisis Center in Northern Kentucky, Marsha Croxton.
