The race for who will become the next mayor of Covington seems to be focused on two very different perceptions of the city and whether or not it is moving in the right direction.
WVXU Political Reporter Howard Wilkinson recently spoke with the two candidates for mayor, Incumbent Sherry Carran, who served three terms on the Covington City Commission and is now in her first term as mayor, and Joe Meyer, who has served in both the Kentucky legislature and the executive branch of state government.
