Gov. Mike DeWine is looking to raise the tax. Not every town welcomes the sales, as more than 50 municipalities have banned them.

Ohio GOP legislative leaders have said they want to revive a proposal to change relatively new recreational marijuana laws.

The Ohio Division of Cannabis Control has proposed new rules that would bar marijuana retailers from advertising on billboards, radio, television, the Internet or anywhere else deemed likely to reach kids under 18.

Goremade Pizza and Walking Distance Brewing Company are some of the first businesses that are explicitly telling customers they can smoke marijuana at their establishments.

Ohio State argued federal law restricting marijuana use supersedes a recently passed state law that legalizes weed because the university received federal funds.

Brown told reporters he is undecided on how to vote on legalized recreational marijuana ahead of a November vote on the issue in Ohio.
