The number of Ohioans in poverty stayed steady from last year, but the number of children living in poverty is concerning the state’s community action agencies.

The study by the RISE Together Innovation Institute found while poverty has declined since 2021, almost 200,000 of the county's 1.3 million residents are living in poverty.
