Republican Bernie Moreno and Democratic U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown have not debated yet, but both said on Tuesday they want to do so.

Democratic nominee U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown and Republican nominee Bernie Moreno held competing events outside the Franklin County Board of Elections. Franklin County is Ohio's most populous county.

Sherrod Brown announced in a video on social media that he voted "yes" on Issues 1 and 2 in the 2023 General Election. JD Vance has left requests for comments unreturned for over a month on the topic.

Brown told reporters he is undecided on how to vote on legalized recreational marijuana ahead of a November vote on the issue in Ohio.
