The company announced Tuesday that it will begin producing the iconic Accord at its Indiana Auto Plant in 2025. The goal is to make room for electric vehicle production at the Marysville Auto Plant.

The money, payable over the next 10 years, comes on top of the approximately $156.3 million in tax incentives and infrastructure improvements that the state of Ohio is putting toward the project.

Honda is set to produce an all new fuel cell electric vehicle at the Performance Manufacturing Center in Marysville. This new model is expected to increase fuel efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.
