Favor won with 41% of the vote, according to unofficial voting results released through the Franklin County Board of Elections.

Prosecutor candidate Anthony Pierson's campaign passed out flyers to voters early Monday that said he was recommended by the county party's screening committee. He was, however, not endorsed by the party as a whole.

Shayla Favor, Natalia Harris or Anthony Pierson will face Republican John Rutan in the November general election.
