While anti-abortion advocates are celebrating the possibility of the US Supreme Court returning abortion to the states to regulate, DeWine is more cautious, saying what Ohio does might not matter if abortion is still accessible in other states.

The bill allows students and workers in both the private and public sectors to choose not to follow COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

Several bills have been introduced in the Ohio House to prohibit some form of mandates for vaccines, House Speaker Bob Cupp (R-Lima) said the Republican caucus is now looking over the proposals to form a piece of legislation that can have a "path forward."
