Four men from Chile have been arrested and charged in a connection with multiple burglaries at multi-million dollar homes in southwest Ohio.

One of those burglaries could involve the home of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.

Court documents said authorities looked in an SUV officials that was pulled over and found an old Louisiana State University shirt, which is where Burrow played college football, and a Bengals hat. The items are believed to have been stolen during a Dec. 9 burglary in Hamilton County.

That's the date Burrow's Anderson Township home, near Cincinnati, was burglarized, while the Bengals were in Texas to play against the Dallas Cowboys.

The four men were stopped on I-70 in Clark County on Jan. 10. They had been staying at a hotel in Fairborn.

In an affidavit filed in Clark County Municipal Court, a detective said three of the four men had fake IDs.

The affidavit also said that during the stop, the Ohio State Highway Patrol found two punch tools wrapped in a towel behind the glove box, which a law enforcement official said were used by a South American theft group to break glass and enter houses.

On Tuesday, a Clark County grand jury indicted 22-year-old Jordan Francisco Sanchez, 24-year-old Alexander Esteban Huaiquil-Chavez, 23-year-old Bastian Alejandro Morales and 38-year-old Sergio Andres Cabello.

The men are currently being held at the Clark County Jail on charges of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, participating in a criminal gang and possessing criminal tools.

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost's office released information about the arrests and indictments. The office declined to comment when asked about specific details regarding the connection to the Burrow burglary.
