The Columbus Blue Jackets are sending goaltender Joonas Korpisalo and defenseman Vladislav Gavrikov to the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for draft picks and goaltender Johnathon Quick, according to multiple reports.
The Athletic reports the deal also includes first and third round draft picks for Columbus.
Quick, 37, has been with the Kings since 2005 and led the team to the Stanley Cup in 2012 and 2014.
Korpisalo has been the better of Columbus' two main goaltenders this season with a record of 11-11-3 and a save percentage of .911.
The defenseman Gavrikov has three goals and seven assists. He's been held out of the lineup for the past two weeks for trade-related seasons. Korpisalo sat out Columbus' Tuesday games against Buffalo for the same reason.
Both teams have yet to confirm the deal with the NHL's deadline on Friday.
The Kings are second in the Pacific Division, while the Columbus Blue Jackets are ranked last in the Metropolitan Division.
Fans will be able to see the swapped players face off against each other when the Blue Jackets travel to Los Angeles for a game on March 16.
