The halls are being un-decked, the goose is getting un-fat and that distant, dopplerized noise? Un-jingle bells. Time to mark the end of the holiday season with – what else? – a celebration! Get a sneak peak Friday morning on Classical 101.

Marking the end of the Twelve Days of Christmas, the annual Twelfth Night concerts by Columbus’ resident early music ensemble The Early Interval have for years brought the traditional Twelfth Night festivities of yore to central Ohio.

Join me Friday, Jan. 8, at 10:00 a.m. on Classical 101 for a live conversation and performance with The Early Interval. The musicians will talk about what’s new with The Early Interval, and what we can expect for their upcoming Twelfth Night concerts Jan. 9 and 10 at Columbus' First Congregational Church, presented by Early Music in Columbus. And we might even get the skinny on the tasty treat specially commissioned to accompany this year’s Twelfth Night musical feast.
