The U.S. Supreme Court building in Washington.

The U.S. Supreme Court has been busy lately, and will likely continue to be busy with recent lawsuits related to moves by the Trump administration.

Besides the usual oral arguments they hear, the court has also taken up several cases with quick turnaround times.

Recently, the high court temporarily blocked the Trump administration from deporting a group of alleged Venezuelan gang members to El Salvador under the Alien Enemies Act.

President Trump reacted to the decision by calling it a “ridiculous situation.” We will discuss other recent U.S. Supreme Court cases with a reporter covering the court.

Then we will hear from a U.S. Supreme Court expert who says history offers insight into the ramifications of a potential clash between the nation’s judiciary and the Trump administration.
