Last year marked the 50th anniversary of a tornado that devastated Xenia, Ohio, the deadliest tornado of the 1974 season.

Over the last few years, the frequency and intensity of weather events including flooding, wildfires and tornadoes has increased.

Whether it’s having canned food in your basement pantry or keeping extra flashlight batteries in the cupboard, emergency preparedness is an important part of keeping you and your family safe from severe weather.
