Ohio State University students and faculty gather on the Oval to protest the university's decision to close its diversity and inclusion offices.

Despite pleas from Democrats, students and faculty, Gov. Mike DeWine has signed a controversial higher education bill.

In 90 days, Senate Bill 1 will become law, meaning the end of diversity equity and inclusion programs, and Ohio universities must tread carefully on topics like climate policy, immigration and abortion.

Lawsuits may be next.

Also on Gov. DeWine's desk, a transportation budget bill with a voting registration provision not everyone is happy about.

We're talking about it all on this week's Reporter Roundtable.
