Painting landscapes promotes a sense of healing through its connection to nature.

American landscape artist Bob Ross has educated thousands over the years with his iconic series The Joy of Painting on PBS. He helped novices create at-home masterpieces in half an hour, and his personality and soothing voice just made viewers feel good.

Bob Ross died in 1995, and today we’ll explore his enduring legacy.
