COVID Cases On The Rise
COVID is still here and cases are on the rise.
In Ohio, of course it’s nowhere near where it was during the height of the pandemic, but COVID cases are up sharply from where they were a few weeks ago.
Ohio reported about 4,000 cases three weeks ago to nearly 8,000 last week. If you do the math, cases have doubled.
Hospitalizations are up, just less than 100 three weeks ago to 171 last week.In addition, 13 Ohioans are dying each week from COVID.
The good news, Pfizer, Moderna and Novavax are all planning to bring new boosters this fall.
In addition to COVID, another flu season is looming.
