Biden to nominate the next U.S. Supreme Court Justice

After much encouragement from the left, Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer announced he would retire last week giving President Biden the opportunity to name a successor while Democrats still control the Senate.

President Biden reiterated his campaign pledge to name the first black woman to the court and said he hopes to have a new justice confirmed by the end of February.
