Gov. Mike DeWine takes questions during a press conference on colleges and the state's new anti-hazing law on July 26, 2021.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine spent last week fielding questions about when he first learned that FirstEnergy had paid a $4.3 million bribe to the man who later became the state’s top utility regulator.

The governor nominated Sam Randazzo to be chair of the Public Utility Commission of Ohio on Feb. 4, 2019. Last year, the FBI raided Randazzo’s Columbus condo and he resigned a few days later. He has not been charged in the case.

Today on the Weekly Reporter Roundtable on All Sides with Ann Fisher, we talk about the growing FirstEnergy nuclear bailout scandal.
