Ohio's state school board has asked the Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost to decide whether a resolution to "condemn racism and to advance equity and opportunity" for minority students went beyond the board's legal authority.
The board passed the resolution last year in the wake of protests over the murder of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer.
