Associated Press reporter Andrew Welsh-Huggins of Columbus has a second career: writing mystery novels. They feature protagonist Andy Hayes, a former Ohio State and Cleveland Browns quarterback turned private investigator.
His latest is titled “An Empty Grave.”
Another local author, Nick White, writes about identity and sexuality in the award-winning book, “How to Survive a Summer” and the short-story collection, “Sweet and Low.”
