The Republican-controlled Ohio General Assembly last week took control of how public health orders are issued in the state during an emergency.
Both the House and Senate voted to override Gov. DeWine’s veto of Senate Bill 22, over the objections of Democrats, local public health officials, health systems and the Ohio Hospital Association.
Today on All Sides with Ann Fisher, we discuss what’s next in the battle over health orders, vaccinations open up to those 16 and older, and more on our Weekly Reporter Roundtable.
Guests:
- Jackie Borchardt, USA Today Network Ohio Bureau Chief
- Jo Ingles, reporter, Ohio Public Radio Statehouse News Bureau
