Law enforcement across the U.S. remains on high alert leading up to President-elect Joe Biden’s Inauguration on Wednesday, although planned armed protests by pro-Trump supporters passed yesterday without serious incidents.

At the Ohio Statehouse, members of the National Guard and law enforcement outnumbered armed pro-Trump protesters and counter-demonstrators. It stood in stark contrast to the violent and deadly uprising at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.
