Democratic presidential candidate former Vice President Joe Biden speaks at a campaign event in Columbus on Tuesday, March 10, 2020.

Democrat Joe Biden on Wednesday drew closer to the 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency after flipping Wisconsin and Michigan, two battleground states Donald Trump won in 2016.

Still, the 2020 election was not the “blue wave” Democrats had hoped for, and whichever candidate is the next president will lead a still deeply divided country.

Today on All Sides with Ann Fisher: political journalist Ken Rudin, host of Ken Rudin’s Political Junkie podcast, discusses the latest developments in the presidential race.
