The Ohio State University
Dr. Kristina Johnson is the new president of The Ohio State University.

Kristina Johnson has stepped into the role of president of Ohio State University during an unprecedented time of social upheaval and pandemic-related precaution.

The university slashed its operating budget by more than $252 million this year, in response to revenue losses brought on by COVID-19. And there's no football this fall, following a decision from the Big Ten Conference.

Meanwhile, coronavirus cases on Ohio State's Columbus campus, and at colleges across Ohio and the country, have rapidly increased after just a week of classes resuming. Johnson has said that students and staff need to control the spread of COVID-19 in order to prevent the school from closing down again.

Wednesday at 11 a.m., hear Johnson join All Sides With Ann Fisher for her first sit-down interview since taking over as president. We'll also look at how higher education across the country is adapting to this unconventional fall term.

You can submit questions for Johnson on the All Sides Facebook and Twitter pages.
