The 2020 Republican National Convention gets started on Monday with an earlier-than-usual roll call vote on the renomination of President Donald Trump.
The count starts around 11 a.m. But that’s just the beginning of what will be an unprecedented Republican gathering, largely remote and coming on the heels of a well received Democratic virtual convention that included the likes of former Ohio Gov. John Kasich and a bevy of other Republicans.
Coming up today on All Sides with Ann Fisher, our weekly Reporter Roundtable weighs in on the Democratic convention and what the Republicans have in store.
Guests:
- Jackie Borchardt, Columbus Bureau Chief, Cincinnati Enquirer
- Jo Ingles, statehouse reporter, Ohio Public Radio Statehouse News Bureau
- Jeremy Pelzer, politics reporter, Cleveland.com
