Hand washing has taken on a new level of importance in the age of COVID-19, so much so that some people are overdoing it and drying out their hands.
It's a small price to pay but many people do similar damage to their entire body when they shower.
Over-washing can deprive the skin of it of oils that maintain skin health and damage the skin’s microbiome which can cause eczema to flare in those genetically predisposed to the disease.
Today on Wellness Wednesday on All Sides with Ann Fisher we talk about over-washing and it's impact on the skin and much more
