This week the impeachment process against President Trump began in the Senate, only the third such trial in U.S. history.
Tensions ran high between the impeachment managers and the lawyers for the White House as they debated how the trial will run.
Eventually, the GOP-led Senate rejected the proposed Democratic amendments from the Democrats and approved the rules of impeachment.
