The Ohio Capital Journal launched on December 4 an online-only news outlet dedicated to Ohio state government.
The journal is part of the changing face of journalism in the United States, where fewer than one in three newspapers assign reporters to cover statehouses, according to a 2014 Pew Research Center study.
