The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has launched a national program that provides daily medications to prevent HIV at no cost to people without prescription drug insurance coverage.
The program could benefit the more than 1 million people in the U.S. who are at risk for HIV and, it is hoped, reduce the number of new HIV infections by 90% in 10 years.
Today on Wellness Wednesday on All Sides with Ann Fisher: a plan to end the HIV epidemic.
