Plastic Bag Bans

Kroger, the largest grocery chain in the country, will phase out the use of plastic bags in its stores by 2025.

Local governments across the country have enacted bans on single-use plastics, such as bags and straws and that has triggered statewide bans on such bans.

In Ohio, Republican lawmakers have introduced two measures to block local governments from imposing fees, bans or other regulations of single-use plastics.
