The 1980’s film “9 to 5,” highlighted the sexism and gender inequality that dominated the American workplace culture, and there’s going to be a sequel.
The theme song, sung by Dolly Parton, became an anthem for women workers against gender-based discrimination, a message that still resonates today as women continue to fight for equality in the workplace.
Today on All Sides Weekend, we discuss women in the workplace, from “9 to 5” until the present.
