As a new school year begins, Columbus City Schools Superintendent Dr. Talisa Dixon is focused on improving student outcomes in the district.
This comes after the release of the annual school report card by the Ohio Department of Education, in which Columbus City Schools received a “D”.
Though this is only a minor step up from last year’s grade of “F,” Dr. Dixon sees the small improvement as a step towards a long-term plan to improve student success and graduation rates.
