Researchers estimate that around 32 million Americans have food allergies.
That includes 5.6 million children under age 18, which equates to roughly two kids in every classroom.
According to the Centers for Disease Control, food allergies in children are on the rise and with students heading back to school soon, food allergy prevention and awareness is key.
