Ohio Wetlands And Algae Blooms

Ohio State researchers are predicting another tough summer for Lake Erie. Researchers from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration are expecting the blooms to be 7.5 on the severity scale.

We’ll talk with Bill Mitsch, the Director of the Florida Gulf Coast University’s Everglades Wetland Research Park, about how restoring the wetlands can impact Ohio’s algae blooms.
