Drivers could be paying more at Ohio gas pumps this summer. Governor Mike DeWine has proposed an 18-cents-per-gallon tax increased to help fund road and bridge maintenance and construction. 

The Ohio Department of Transportation reports that state faces a $1 billion annual shortfall moving forward without the tax.
