Ohio’s medicinal marijuana program was set to debut this past Saturday, but has suffered setbacks.
Gov. John Kasich legalized medicinal marijuana in 2016, giving the state two years to build the program which is now months behind schedule.
The Ohio Department of Commerce is working to get the program up and running for cultivators that must obtain the processor licenses and certificates necessary for growing, manufacturing and selling.
