The American Medical Association recently voted in favor of a ban that would stop direct-to-consumer advertising of prescription drugs and medical devices. According to a new study, 60% of prescription drug ads and 80% of over the counter drug ads are misleading or false. Also, a new study revealed that women with gestational diabetes who breastfeed for more than two months are half as likely to develop type 2 diabetes within two years after delivery.
