Thirty percent of the homeless population is comprised of those under the age of 18. Homeless youths are ineligible for family shelters or foster care and often are a poor fit for adult shelters. Homeless youth drop-in center Star House recently opened up a new, larger facility to meet the demand for services in Central Ohio.
