Ohio Ranks Among Worst States in Food Security

Many food banks are working to provide fresh fruits and vegetables in addition to canned and packaged foods.

recent report from the United States Department of Agriculture indicated that over seven percent of Ohioans lived in households with very low food security in 2014, ranking Ohio third nationally. 

Food banks in Ohio are growing and adapting to meet the needs of the less fortunate.
