On this week's episode:

Biden On The Trail

Former Vice President and 2020 presidential candidiate Joe Biden was in town last week to speak at the Human Rights Campaign’s annual Columbus Dinner. He told the crowd that the "Equality Act" would be his top legislative priority if elected president. The measure would extend protections in housing, employment and public accommodations to the LGBTQ community.

Biden is leading in the polls over the other 23 Democrats running for president, but polls also show younger and more liberal Democrats lack enthusiasm for him.

To Drag Or Not To Drag

Two libraries in Central Ohio planned events this month on the art of drag performance. The Delaware library resisted calls to cancel their "Drag 101" event, but organizers moved it after they say they received threats.

When Ohio House Speaker Larry Householder heard of the events, he wrote a full page letter to the Ohio Library Council, calling the events a "bizarre" breach of the public trust. After Householder shared that letter on social media, the Licking County Library cancelled its event.
