OSU Heads To Spring Practice With 1 Big Question… Quarterback?

The Ohio State football team hits the practice field while the Buckeye basketball team prepares for the heart of tournament season.

Football

Ohio State football has started Spring practice. Honestly, it seems like just yesterday that Urban Meyer was raising the National Championship trophy in Dallas. And now here we are: Spring football. Who will start at QB for the Buckeyes? Who is healthy heading into camp? Three elite QB’s, one spot. Who gets the job.

Basketball

The Buckeyes are in the middle of the Big Ten Tournament right now, and are preparing for their appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The Buckeyes take on Michigan State Friday night in the Big Ten Tournament. The Tournament will end on Sunday, and March Madness will ensue. Who you got?

NFL Scheduling

So every Spring, around mid-april, the NFL releases the upcoming season’s schedule. And I would say most people, myself included, take this for granted. The kind of things that go into making NFL schedules include stadium availability, divisional opponents, TV deals, primetime matchups, Thursday Night Games, Monday Night Games, Sunday Night Games, Sunday Afternoon Games, bye weeks… There’s a lot of factors. But one factor that seems to be overlooked is one that can directly affect competitive balance.

Team rest.

And one academic group in Buffalo is working on a way to improve the NFL schedule.
