The U.S. goalkeeper, Tim Howard, did everything he could and made 16 key saves on Tuesday, but it wasn't quite enough: the U.S. lost to Belgium 2-1 in extra time and is out of World Cup play. The World Cup did really well on TV in the U.S. Columbus had the second highest per capita viewership in the nation.
