Nicholas Booker
Classical InternNicholas is a scholar, writer, and musician working as an intern for classical. During the academic year, he is a PhD student and graduate teaching associate in musicology and ethnomusicology at The Ohio State University.
He focuses on Celtic, Gaelic, and British songs in his research. He is currently working with Cornish singing communities in the southwest of Britain and North American communities that share music with the Cornish. In his home state of Colorado, he performed with the 101st Army Band, the indie folk project All Those Who Wander, and various other classical, jazz, and folk groups. He has also taught K–12 and community college music.
He enjoys jam sessions with friends, good food, and walks in Ohio's many beautiful woods and forests.
