The Franklin County Coroner's Office has ruled that 7-month-old Elizah Turner died from skull and brain injuries after a pit bull attack at a south Columbus home on April 9.

The coroner ruled the girl's death an accident.

A woman brought the infant to a Parsons Avenue fire station after the attack.

The woman said Turner was attacked by a dog.

The child was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital where she died.

No charges have been filed in Turner's death. The Franklin County Prosecutor's Office said the case remains under review.
